What is hyaluronic acid
This substance has a high capacity to moisturise tissues by attracting water.
With advancing age and due to external factors, such as excessive sun exposure or excess free radicals, the concentration of hyaluronic acid of elastin and collagen decreases. This leads to a reduction in skin firmness, a progressive decrease in elasticity and the consequent appearance of wrinkles and common signs of ageing
The treatment
Using micro-infiltrations it is possible to slow down the aging process of the face by making the skin more elastic and moisturized, and correcting wrinkles by making them less visible.
Fillers are used to treat both superficial and deeper wrinkles, but are also used to redefine the volumes of the cheekbones, lips and oval of the face.
The products used are totally resorbable hypoallergenic and completely biocompatible, and offer lasting correction for about 8-10 months.
The filler sessions last 15 to 30 minutes depending on the area treated. Immediately after the session the patient can resume their work and social activities.
The results of filler treatments are immediately visible and can be applied to various aspects with special attention to the peculiar and unique ethnic characteristics of each patient.
After the hyaluronic acid treatment the patient can continue normal everyday activities. Sometimes a slight redness on the treated area may appear for a few minutes, while there are rare cases in which small bruises may appear, especially in more susceptible patients, which disappear a few days after treatment.
